The importance of the festivals cannot be overstated. They’re an astonishing showcase of arts and culture from around the world that transforms our capital into something truly wonderful.
The Edinburgh International Festival #EdFestival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe #EdFringe are prime among them and during 3 weeks of August the buzz in the capital is tangible! Impromptu street performance is the essence of these weeks, it is my hope that these images give a sense of the truly wonderful atmosphere and humanity.
