Elliott Erwitt was the master of finding the beauty in the mundane and making it something extraordinary, taking ordinary scenes and making them fascinating. The beauty of street photography is that you don’t need to go long and far to take an interesting photograph. All the greatest photo-opportunities are right in your backyard, regardless of where you live.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” – Elliott Erwitt
And here are some of my street images!
Edinburgh is a beautifully diverse city no more so during the Festival, but here we cerebrate its diversity and tolerance with Pride!
